3 of us want to play!!

There are 3 of us where I live who would like to play TA at the same time going through the same router, is this possible? At the moment 2 of us can play, but as far as I understand, thats the limit. -- Is it possible to have a third? (p.s. I would be the third player, so please say yes!)

Try to place a hub into the router and use the hub for both the other pc's.

I don't know if this is working but i know there is a way who let more then only 3 players play on the same router, and if i remember they did use a hub, and not a router.

Our current set up was with all 3 on a hub connected to the router, Ive now tried it with one on router and 2 on hub, but still no joy

open the ports for one pc and use dmz for the hub

open 2300-2400 and 47624 TCP/UDP

if you still have problems another way is to use a program called dxport from www.puffinsoft.com this has worked for others in the past for playing ta from same ip.
here are some excerpts from their site...

DXport is an app that will let multiple people play most games that use the Directplay network code behind a NAT/Router. Normally you are limited to a single client behind a NAT/Router unless your router supports UPnP. This may also be an option for people that don't like the security issues with UPnP. What DXport does is force DirectX to the ports you specify.
